Stuart Little chases the Radcam.
6/20/01, Los Angeles, California
A modified version of the Omni Radcam Miniature Remote Controlled Camera Car has been used for the feature film production of STUART LITTLE 2. The chassis of the Radcam was redesigned to allow a 35mm camera to be mounted on an extended plate ahead of the front axle of the car. This allows the camera lens to be as low as 1 inch above the ground. The chassis also allowed the camera to be mounted to the rear of the car. Shots included driving under a truck and through sidewalk traffic at Stuart’s level. Watch out for the upcoming Columbia Pictures release later this year.
